Kean Hill is situated in the old fishing village of Cawsand on the Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall.
Known as “the forgotten corner of England”, the Rame Peninsula is blessed with sparkling seas, golden beaches, rolling hills and woodland, with the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand at its heart.
Ideally situated as a base to explore the pensinsula, Kean Hill is conveniently placed 5 minutes’ walk from Cawsand village centre and the beach.
Looking out across Plymouth Sound, this beautiful apartment has its own private entrance and offers a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Catering for singles or couples, the loft style apartment encompasses high quality fixtures and fittings, including a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and fridge. There is also a high spec bathroom with Jacuzzi style bath that’s big enough for two!
The main accommodation, with its floor to ceiling windows, gives panoramic views of Cawsand Bay and the surrounding countryside. Furniture includes a two seater sofa, a flat screen TV with integral DVD including Sky channels, a CD player, a King size bed with all bed linen provided, and a Bose music system with radio, clock and alarm. There is also free WIFI in the apartment.
The outside space has a BBQ and plenty of seating to enjoy a glass of wine and a meal whilst looking out at the gorgeous countryside and fantastic Cawsand Bay with its hive of activities. The apartment is few minutes’ easy walking to the local shops, pubs and beaches.
Car parking is nearby on the street or in the public car park (permits are available from Cornwall Council).
Please note that the apartment is not suitable for children, nor people with mobility issues due to the access via a staircase. Sorry, but no pets allowed and no smoking.
The twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand share several sheltered beaches which are perfect for swimming and rockpooling.
If you feel like going a little further afield, Whitsand Bay has 3 miles of golden sand and is just a 5 minute drive or a bus ride along the cliff tops.
Cawsand is perfectly located as a base for your visit, with regular ferries to Plymouth, buses to Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and Plymouth, and a network of public footpaths for walkers around the Rame Peninsula.
The South West Coast Path passes through the village so why not tick off a few of its 630 miles while you’re here?
The apartment is available to rent throughout the year with stays of 3 or 7 nights.
